Procedure Overview
Kyphoplasty
Kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that may be used to
treat selected vertebral compression fractures.
During the procedure, a small balloon is positioned within the
collapsed vertebra and inflated. Bone cement is then placed into
the vertebral body to help stabilize the fracture and restore support.

Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency ablation uses controlled heat generated by radio
waves to target selected nerve tissue and reduce transmission
of pain signals.

Platelet Rich Plasma Injections
Platelet rich plasma, or PRP, is a biologic treatment prepared
from a concentration of the patient's own platelets and growth factors.
PRP may be considered in selected musculoskeletal conditions as
part of an individualized treatment plan.

Spinal Cord Stimulation
Spinal cord stimulation uses an implanted device to deliver mild
electrical impulses near the spinal cord to modify pain signals.
Patients generally undergo a temporary trial before permanent
implantation is considered.
